I want to give this game a fair chance, I really do.  But when looking at it and reading about it I'm getting flashbacks of Ooga Booga for the Dreamcast.  I really liked Ooga Booga, I sincerely did.  But it was a very unique game.  Either you really liked it, or really hated it.  This game looks to be no different.  Extremely unique, and I see a potential failure in catching on with the general public.  On the otherhand, could this be Microsoft's answer to the Pokemon series?  It kinda sounds like it...

 

So this announcement brings me to this question for you:  Do you think Microsoft's investment in Rare has paid off?  Let's remember they paid over 375 million for this company.  Financials would prove that it hasn't, but will it pay off in the future?  I'm really interested in what you have to say.
